All Applicants:

Start Your Career as a Cosmetologist!

We offer open enrollment all year for our cosmetology courses. The course requires 1,000 hours to obtain your license, and our experienced teachers will fully prepare you for both the written and practical exams. We also provide flexible hours and payment plans to fit your schedule and budget.

Requirements to Enroll:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Provide Identification (ID, Social Security, or passport)
• Submit 2 passport-sized photos
• Pay a $35 state board fee

The programs prepare students to become the creative, well-trained professionals demanded by today’s beauty industry. Programs prepare graduates for the Texas Department of License and Regulations state exam. 

Student Preparation Tips

There are a few things you may want to consider while arranging for a successful enrollment plan:

  • Choose a start date that works well with your schedule and level of preparedness
  • Prepare financially
  • Plan for dependable transportation and childcare if applicable
  • Consider employment that supports the demands of your education

Re-Enrollment

Students desiring reinstatement must pay all required admissions and re-enrollment fees, as well as sign a Letter of Reinstatement. Re-enrolling students will not be charged tuition for hours already earned but must pay the current hourly rate for all remaining hours.
